More Aussie cyber-security jobs in the offing
Depends, of course, on whether the Federal Government get their bill passed or not. The federal Government is drawing up plans to allow companies to spy on their employees' emails in a controversial upgrading of the nation's ability to protect vital sectors of the economy from cyber-attack.
I'm (a) surprised this hasn't been attempted before, and (b) concerned that we may have copy-cat legislation over here if it gets through. I thought that corporate IT systems would already be keeping track of folks' naughty stuff at work.

Over here there's a big difference between what can be tracked, and what you're allowed to use as evidence in disciplinaries etc - bit like when phone tap evidence can/can't be used in court.
I would suspect its the same down under.

Does that mean Leechboy will be able to track my computer use? Technically he does pay me to raise our children.
